What the EA Learning Hub collects about you, why, who sees it and how long it is kept. Last updated 1 November 2026.

1. What we collect

You give us: your name and email address when you sign up; your preferred language; messages you send through the feedback form; and, for paid courses, the order details (course, amount, date).

We record as you learn: which videos you finished, when you opened a video, your assessment answers and scores, and the certificates issued to you.

We record for security: sign-in events with your email address, the network address and browser type, kept for 90 days.

2. Card details

We never see or store your card number. Payments are made on the payment provider’s own page; we receive only whether the payment succeeded, the amount and a reference.

3. Why we use it

To run your account and sign you in; to give you the courses and remember your progress; to mark assessments and issue certificates; to take payment and send receipts; to answer your messages; to keep the Hub secure; and to understand, in aggregate, how the courses are used so we can improve them. We do not sell your data and we do not show advertising.

4. Who handles it

We use service providers to run the Hub: a hosting provider (Railway) for the servers, database and video storage; an email provider (Resend) to send sign-in links and receipts; and, once purchases open, a payment provider. They process data only to provide those services. Decisionware staff who run the Hub can see account and learning records.

5. Cookies

We use one essential cookie that keeps you signed in, and one that remembers your language, which we save only if you accept it in the cookie notice (you can choose essential only). Your light or dark choice is kept in your browser. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

6. How long we keep it

Account and learning records are kept while your account exists. Sign-in security events are kept 90 days. Database backups are kept 30 days. Order records are kept as long as the law requires for accounting. A certificate number stays verifiable unless you ask us to remove it.

7. Your choices

You can see and change your name and language on your profile page. You can ask us to give you a copy of your data or to delete your account and records (except what the law requires us to keep) by writing to us on the feedback and support page. You can sign out of all devices at any time.

8. Changes

If we change this policy the date above changes. If the change is important we will tell you by email.
